PEACE BOAT

In 2018, I was honored to be accepted as a web reporter for the UN-funded Japanese project, Peace Boat. My role was to document and report on the journey of Hiroshima and Nagasaki survivors as they shared their stories during a global voyage.

For four months, we traveled the world aboard a magnificent ship, docking at 24 destinations around the globe. Together, we worked to spread the survivors' message of hope for a nuclear-free world.

Between lectures, discussions, and events, we had the unique opportunity to see the world through fresh eyes, exploring diverse cultures and discovering new possibilities.
