FLORIOGRAPHY

By 2021, I had been a professional photographer for over a decade, working with clients ranging from individuals to large-scale companies. However, I began to feel a sense of longing—I missed my camera as a companion. What had once been a friend and creative outlet had become merely work.

Around the same time, my mother fell ill, and I found myself seeking solace in photography once again. It became, as it always had been, a comforting and eye-opening practice.

One day, I stumbled upon a book in a city street library that introduced me to the language of flowers—floriography. This beautiful, symbolic language assigns a unique meaning to each flower, creating a way to communicate through nature.

Since then, I’ve kept my eyes open, constantly discovering new flowers and exploring the meanings they hold. Press each image to uncover the story and symbolism within.
